   Cat recommended enough! We had the best time away in our camper which was modern, comfortable and so easy to use and had absolutely everything we needed to wild camp!

Communication for booking was great and simple and Katie was great in responding to my questions and providing all the information I needed.

   Had a great Scotland trip after hiring a camper from Ahoy. The van was pristine, just what we needed, more than enough room for a couple and a dog.    We’re a family of 4 and we hired a campervan from Katie for a long weekend and were so impressed!

   Hired a van recently and it was absolutely brilliant, our first time in a camper and the run through the way everything works was just perfect.
Sparklingly clean and well presented.
Cooker and sink and bed very simple to use.
Easy to drive and (although this does not help everyone) the ability of the radio to work through CarPlay made navigation simplicity itself.
The van was surprisingly economical and impressively comfortable.

   We had the best time renting a campervan from Ahoy Campervan Hire for our Glastonbury trip/weekend. The campervan we got was like a little home from home; it had everything we needed for an easy and enjoyable weekend. We also had the best night's sleep! With the roof down, the van did a great job of blocking out the sound at night, so we could sleep easily. We borrowed an awning from a neighbour, which fixed to the van for extra privacy.

Katie and Mark at Ahoy Campervan Hire were super friendly and helpful. It was our first ever campervan trip, and they were quick to respond to any questions we had and made sure we had everything we needed.

When are the Clayton Power add-on batteries coming out.

They were planned in the summer of 2023 but are now planned for Q2 of 2024.

What is the best solar panel to choose?

If you want to save space we sell an Austrian built 330w Semi-Flexible Solar Panel with a 5yr guarantee. Its just under 50v and 400w so its perfect for the Clayton unit.

How do I book a campervan?

Call or whatsapp Katie on 07737970027. We have a booking system in the works but for now just call and check availability.

What size will the Clayton Power add-on batteries be?

280ah and 100ah

Does the Clayton work with an add on screen as well as the Clayton remote

Its not needed but for those that do want a screen we now sell a Montana screen and loom kit including a PMS that controls the electrics and acts like a consumer unit. More info and videos coming soon.

Is there an App for the Clayton LPSII?

Yes there is an app coming out Q1 of 2024 that will allow you to see charger rates, and turn 230v, 12v on and off including jumpstart.

Can I go gas free with a Clayton Power unit?

You can, and a lot of our customers do. We have done Youtube induction hob tests using our own LPS 3000. Cooking 3 proper meals in one go.

What diesel heater would you recomend?

Autoterm make a high standard heater with a brushless motor and a nice looking modern controler. Mark has fitted 10+ now including our own rental vans and they have been faultless so far.
