Manage charging between your starter and leisure batteries with the Renogy REGO 12V/24V 30A DC-DC Battery Charger.

Designed to work across both 12V and 24V electrical systems, the REGO automatically detects the system voltage and provides up to 30A / 450W of charging output.

Its bidirectional charging capability allows the alternator and starter battery to charge your leisure battery while driving, while power can also flow back from the auxiliary battery to maintain the starter battery when required. Built-in Bluetooth and CAN connectivity provide convenient monitoring and control.

Flexible 12V & 24V Charging

Unlike a conventional DC-DC charger designed around a single voltage, the REGO supports both 12V and 24V starter and auxiliary battery systems.

This allows four charging configurations:

12V starter → 12V auxiliary
12V starter → 24V auxiliary
24V starter → 12V auxiliary
24V starter → 24V auxiliary

The charger automatically detects whether the input system is 12V or 24V.

Bidirectional Battery Charging

Bidirectional charging allows power to move between the starter and auxiliary batteries depending on the needs of the system.

During normal driving, alternator power can be used to charge the leisure battery. When required, the charger can also use power from the auxiliary battery to maintain the starter battery, helping reduce the risk of being left with a depleted starter battery.

30A / 450W Charging Output

The REGO provides a maximum charging current of 30A and output power of up to 450W.

With charging efficiency of 94% or greater, it provides efficient DC-DC charging across compatible 12V and 24V vehicle electrical systems.

Traditional & Smart Alternator Compatibility

The charger is designed to work with both traditional and smart alternators, making it suitable for a wide range of vehicle charging systems.

Its charging behaviour can also be adjusted through the Renogy App to suit the requirements of the installation.

Built-In Bluetooth & CAN Connectivity

This model does have built-in Bluetooth, allowing direct connection to the Renogy App without requiring a separate Bluetooth module.

The app provides real-time monitoring and allows charging parameters to be adjusted, including charging voltage and current. The charger also supports Renogy CAN and RS485 communication for integration with compatible Renogy equipment.
