Designed to fold down into a compact, backpack-sized package, the solar blanket combines 200W of solar output with high-efficiency Mono N-Type cells in a portable 4kg design.

It can be placed on the ground, positioned on a vehicle or hung to make the most of available sunlight, while built-in solar connectors and USB outputs provide flexible charging options for batteries, portable power stations and smaller electronic devices.

High-Efficiency N-Type Solar Cells

The blanket uses Mono N-Type solar cells with a 16BB structure, providing up to 25% conversion efficiency.

This helps maximise solar generation from the available surface area while keeping the overall blanket compact and portable.

Compact 8-Fold Design

The 200W model uses an 8-fold construction, allowing the full-size solar blanket to fold down to just 410 × 390 × 78mm for easier transport and storage.

When unfolded, it measures 1560 × 810 × 38mm, providing a substantial solar collection area while weighing only 4kg.

Flexible Setup

Unlike a permanently mounted solar panel, the portable blanket can be positioned to suit your surroundings.

It can be laid on the ground, positioned on a vehicle or hung, giving you greater flexibility to make use of the available sunlight when camping or travelling.

Charge Batteries & Portable Power Stations

Standard solar connectors allow the blanket to be connected to compatible portable power stations and 12V or 24V battery systems.

When charging batteries directly, Renogy recommends using a compatible MPPT solar charge controller between the panel and battery.

Built-In USB Charging

The 200W model also includes direct USB charging, allowing smaller devices such as phones and laptops to be powered without needing a separate power station.

It features one USB-C port with up to 45W output and two USB-A ports with up to 18W output. This direct USB functionality is specific to the 200W version of the solar blanket.

Designed for Outdoor Use

The solar blanket features an IP65-rated construction designed for portable outdoor operation.

An integrated carrying handle and removable shoulder strap make it easier to transport between locations, while the reinforced construction helps protect the panel during regular use.
